Dinner Dates in London

Updated: Jun 21, 2022

My most memorable encounters always begin with a dinner date.

A true gentlemen will always make an effort to impress a lady! A romantic dining experience sets the tone for a spectacular evening and keeps the suspense and romance flowing.

There is nothing more satisfying for me than sitting by the side of a refined, mature, intelligent gentleman sipping dom perignon speculating trivial and meaningful things whilst having a little giggle.

Contrary to many overseas travellers beliefs and past experiences London has many very good restaurants, actually some of the very best in the world, like many big cities you just have to know where to go.

If your'e a Londoner yourself I am sure you could take me to many wonderful places, if you're international I would be happy to suggest a few of my favourites.

C London Formerly known as Cipriani is my favourite Italian and the best restaurant hands down for low key people watching. This is a place to go if you want to be seen and you know that understated is the true sign of class and sophistication. The bellinis are the same as the originals in Venice and the pasta is divine, save room to share a dessert or at least peek at the cakes as the waiters soiree around the restaurant holding multiple at once.

Nobu is a classic worldwide and the new London Nobu hotel can even give Nobu 57th New York City a run for its money if that's even possible as that place is a total vibe?! Let's try them both and compare, or shall we check Nobu Monte Carlo?

Scott's restaurant is the best seafood restaurant in London and a true London classic, it really is in my opinion one of London's very best restaurants and not a place to be missed. Champagne and oysters! Wow what an aphrodisiac !

Helene Darroze at the Connaught Hotel is absolutely divine and a true french fine dining experience. One for a very special celebration together, let's raise a glass! If you love french cuisine and would like to take me somewhere I haven't yet been I would love to try Gavroche or LPM restaurant and bar, both in Mayfair.

All of this is making me hungry so I shall leave this here and do hope to be sitting on the opposite side of the dinner table to you very soon.
